About the role
We are seeking an outstanding candidate to join an ambitious and forward-thinking charity to ensure the smooth running of our Gloucester shop. To assist the Shop Manager with all aspects of the charity shop, including volunteers, customer service, stock management, financial records, administration, compliance. Promoting the work of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and take responsibility of managing the shop when the shop manager is absent.
About Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC)
Established in 1991, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is responsible for providing pre-hospital critical care across the six Midlands counties of: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, the West Midlands and Worcestershire. The charity also delivers secondary cover to surrounding areas, such as Warwickshire and mid Wales. Our services are provided by operating three air ambulance helicopters and three critical care cars, which serve the growing Midlands population of six million plus people.
Our organisation is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as an independent health care provider. To fund our operations, we rely on the generous support of the public via donations and income from our expanding portfolio of charity shops. We set our standards in line with leading industry bodies such as the Fundraising Regulator, The Charity Commission and the Charity Retail Association. We have also recently been accredited as a gold standard employer by Investors In People.
