From assisting on our merchandise stand, to manning the demonstration helicopter pod at a local show, there’s never a dull moment when we’re out and about.
Do you always have a welcoming smile on your face and love getting into conversations? Why not get to know the people from your community with this versatile volunteering role. Gain valuable experience in customer service adding value to your CV.
Our Retail Assistant volunteers are the first point of contact for our customers when they enter our shops.
If you’d like to make a difference behind the scenes, and you enjoy organising and sorting as well as being neat and tidy then we have a role for you – helping in our Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Shop stockrooms. The stockroom is the engine room of the store and we need dedicated people to support us in sorting through donations and finding treasures. If you want a hands-on volunteer role behind the scenes or just fancy the company of other friendly volunteers our shop stock room is the place to be.
We have nine busy charity shops located in Gloucester city centre (Gloucestershire), Hereford (Herefordshire), Merry Hill (West Midlands), Newcastle-under-Lyme (Staffordshire), Shrewsbury (Shropshire), Stoke-on-Trent, Hanley (Staffordshire), Wellington (Telford, Shropshire), Walsall (West Midlands) and West Bromwich (West Midlands). Could you be the friendly face of your local Midland Air Ambulance Charity shop? With support around you and full training provided, you will be processing sales through the till as a volunteer cashier, talking to customers and thanking every donor – helping us continue to fund our lifesaving missions. This is a customer focused role where you will meet and interact with a wide range of people.
There are also opportunities for outgoing volunteers to play a key role by representing the charity at talks or presentations about the life saving work we do.
