A man has sadly died after a collision involving a van and a motorbike in Rugeley this morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 7.28am to the junction of Stile Cop Road and the A460 and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman says: “On arrival, crews found the motorcyclist, a man, in a critical condition receiving CPR from bystanders.
“Ambulance staff immediately took over to administer advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene."
