A man has sadly died in the early hours of this morning following a road traffic collision in Wolverhampton.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Ettingshall Road and Bilston Road in Wolverhampton at 1.35am earlier today (Tuesday 7th January). Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a critical care car from Midlands Air Ambulance Charity responded to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Ambulance staff arrived to find a car which had collided with a wall. The driver, a man, was trapped and in a critical condition. Ambulance staff worked with fire colleagues to rapidly extricate him from the car and commenced advanced life support. Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, the man’s life couldn’t be saved.”
