A woman has been left with serious injuries after being involved in an RTC yesterday evening in Dudley.
West Midlands Ambulance Service received multiple 999 calls reporting a road traffic collision between a pedestrian and a car at the junction of Stourbridge Road and Highgate Road, Dudley at around 5.50pm (Wednesday). Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic and a Midlands Air Ambulance Charity critical care car covering Birmingham and the Black Country attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When ambulance staff arrived they found a pedestrian, a woman, who had reportedly been involved in a collision with a car. Upon assessment, she was found to have sustained serious injuries. The team administered trauma care on scene to stabilise her condition before conveying her on blue lights to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further trauma care.”
