A cyclist has been airlifted to a major trauma centre after a collision with a lorry.
The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon at about 4.10pm on the B4218 Walwyn Road in Colwall, Malvern.
An ambulance, a paramedic officer and two BASICS doctors were sent to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Ambulance staff responded to reports of the collision which had left the cyclist with serious injuries.
“On arrival, they found a man who had come off his bicycle, though the circumstances were not clear.
“After treatment at the scene, the man was taken by ambulance on blue lights to the Strensham Airbase where the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford was waiting to airlift the man to the major trauma centre at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.
“The lorry driver was uninjured.”
