An average of 4,500 call outs each year

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has responded to more than 4,500 call-outs over the past year. Our three air ambulances are called out on a mission on average 12 times a day.

Serving six counties, an area of almost 6,000 square miles and serving over six million people, MAAC covers the largest air ambulance operating area in the whole of the UK.

In 2020/21, the average time to reach a patient was just ten minutes via air ambulance and critical care car, enabling MAAC to continue to do what it does best…Saving Lives by Saving Time.
