David has worked as a pre-hospital emergency medicine doctor since 2008 in the UK and New Zealand. His current roles are across the East Midlands, West Midlands and Yorkshire and include BASICS Doctor, MERIT Consultant, HEMS Consultant and Strategic Medical Advisor. David’s clinical interests are in point of care ultrasound and supporting education for pre-hospital advanced practice in paramedic colleagues. He is a Lecturer at Lincoln University, faculty for the ATACC course and holds the Fellowship in Immediate Medical Care by examination from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Outside of work his young family including 3 kids and dog Rosie keep him busy and he enjoys sailing, hiking and music.
