25 Years of Weddings for Amazing Barn Venue in Cheshire

Wednesday 31st July 2024

Heaton House Farm marked an incredible 25 years of hosting weddings, and they certainly celebrated in style.

They invited all their past couples and families to a fantastic afternoon of entertainment. The whole event was in aid of British Heart Foundation and Midlands Air Ambulance, two of the original charities that Heaton House Farm used to support when they hosted their charity concerts back in the 1990s.

Heaton House Farm has been in the Heath family; Mick, Margaret and their daughter Sarah, for seven generations.

What started as a passion for giving back to the community, hosting annual charity concerts, they received one guest request for a wedding reception in their barn, and the rest is history.

From converting cow and tractor sheds, building oak-beamed barns as well as developing guest rooms and a restaurant from the old milking parlour.; the last 25 years have been filled with improvements, renovations and many incredible events alongside watching hundreds of happy couples tie the knot, which has allowed the business to flourish into what it has become today!

At the anniversary celebration, guests enjoyed entertainment, fun and laughter from crazy golf, table tennis, bungy run, a donkey derby, arcade games and balloon modelling.

But the venue hasn’t forgotten its’ farming roots with friendly pigs and lambs for people to pet. Even Farmer Mick proudly displayed his farm machinery for children to sit on. There were plenty of farming-themed games too including the very entertaining welly-wanging!

Music filled the air with two incredible singers. Delicious food and drinks were available, including gourmet burgers, a dazzling array of desserts, and refreshing ice creams. Guests enjoyed browsing a photo timeline showcasing the transformation and development of the farm to the wedding venue over the years.

There was plenty of love, laughter and reminiscing throughout the whole afternoon and it is safe to say the venue's past couples were blown away at the amazing event. They have also raised an incredible £3,000 for their chosen charities.

Congratulations Heaton House Farm and here’s to the next 25 years!
