A boy has been taken to hospital after becoming unwell at Alton Towers

West Midlands Ambulance Service were called at 12:40pm today by staff at Alton Towers to a guest who had become unwell. The Midlands Air Ambulance from Tatenhill, a land ambulance, a paramedic officer and Community First Responder were sent to the scene. The patient, a boy, was treated at the scene before being taken by land ambulance to Royal Stoke Hospital for further treatment.
