Claire Dyson, from Cleeve Prior in Worcestershire, has been shortlisted for a national rural enterprise award, and the team at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is encouraging the local community to vote for Claire after she helped raise more than £100,000 for the local lifesaving cause.
Claire Dyson, who owns and manages Claire Dyson Water Treadmill & Rehabilitation Centre in Cleeve Prior, has been shortlisted for the Midlands Rural Enterprise Award by the Countryside Alliance. The winner will be chosen by a public online vote, via the web link and takes just two minutes to complete.
Charley Burke, Worcestershire fundraising executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, is encouraging local residents to get behind Claire Dyson and vote. Charley said: “The awards are fondly known as the rural Oscars, celebrating businesses and people who go the extra mile. We would love to see Claire Dyson receive the recognition she deserves as the rural enterprise winner, for her commitment to the rural business community and her unfaltering support of our charity over the last 12 years, which has helped to fund dozens of lifesaving missions in the area.”
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity sadly attends a horse rider in critical need of advanced pre-hospital care every week, rapidly bringing enhanced skills, medicine and care to give them the best chance of survival and a good recovery. Each mission costs £288 for a critical care car or £2,950 for an air ambulance, which is all funded through donations from the public and local businesses, so support from people like Claire Dyson is vital to enable the charity to operate.
