Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is offering you the rare chance to be part of ‘An Evening With Sir AP McCoy’. Taking place on Friday 23rd November at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield, tickets for this much-anticipated event are already selling ahead of schedule.
Renowned for being the greatest jump jockey of all time, Sir Anthony dominated the equestrian world for over two decades. He recently ended his phenomenal career as Champion Jockey for the 20th consecutive year and was awarded both the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year (2010) and BBC’s Sports Personality Lifetime Achievement Award (2015).
The ‘Evening With’ event aims to give our guests a rare and personal insight into Sir Anthony’s incredible career and raise vital funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, which on average airlifts a horse rider every four days.
Jason Levy, fundraising and marketing director for the charity, said: “We have a great affiliation with the equestrian community across the six Midlands counties we operate. Our exclusive evening with Sir Anthony, which includes a three-course meal, will present a fascinating insight into his career and future projects and certainly isn’t one to be missed. It will also help fund future lifesaving air ambulance missions, making it a very special evening.”
Jump racing legend, Sir Anthony McCoy, said: “Midlands Air Ambulance Charity does fantastic job saving lives on a daily basis. The racing community greatly values the work of the air ambulance, due to the dangers involved with the sport, which is why I’m delighted to support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and the important work they do.”
Sky Sports’ presenter Emma Spencer will interview Sir Anthony and invite questions from the audience. Other special guests from the world of sport and media will also be attending the evening.
Tickets for the evening are £70 and are available from The Ticket Factory. The night commences at 7pm and will be hosted at The Belfry Hotel in Sutton Coldfield.
