Tuesday 5th November 2024

(Nicky Harrop, Currie Young)

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is thrilled to introduce Nicky Harrop, head of business development at the insolvency and restructuring firm Currie Young, as its newest business ambassador.

Having more than 15 years’ experience working in business development in the insolvency services sector, Nicky is a passionate advocate of the Staffordshire business community.

Nicky shared: “I’m proud to be part of Staffordshire’s thriving business community and honoured to have been offered the opportunity to work more closely with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Staffordshire is home to UHNM’s Acute Rehabilitation & Trauma Unit, serving a population of nearly three million people stretching from Anglesey to the Peak District.  As such, the air ambulance is a familiar sight to us all.  I’m incredibly passionate about the vital work of the charity and look forward to supporting the efforts of the fundraising teams within Staffordshire.”

Pam Hodgetts, corporate partnerships manager at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We are excited to have Nicky join us as a business ambassador. Her wealth of experience and strong ties to the local business community will play a key role in strengthening our partnerships and expanding the reach of our lifesaving work.”

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity funds and operates three air ambulances and a fleet of critical care cars across six Midlands counties, providing lifesaving pre-hospital emergency care to those in need. The charity relies on the generosity of the public and corporate partnerships to continue its vital work.
