Midlands Air Ambulance Charity hosted a successful Halloween Experience on Sunday 27th October at its Cosford Airbase and Headquarters. The event offered a fun-filled day of spooky activities, all while supporting the charity’s lifesaving work.
The airbase was transformed into a Halloween Experience, with children arriving in their costumes, adding to the atmosphere. Families enjoyed a variety of themed activities, including a Trick-or-Treat Hunt, spooky photo opportunities, and interactive games for all ages. There was even an appearance from the charity’s mascot, Maac the Pup, who delighted young visitors. Every child also took home a Halloween-themed goody bag, brimming with treats.
Jo Bailey, group events lead at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said:
“We were delighted with the fantastic turnout and the wonderful feedback from families who joined us for the Halloween Experience. The unique opportunity for visitors to watch our air ambulances leave on missions from our viewing area, gave them a real insight into the crucial, lifesaving work we do. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and supported the event.”
In addition to the day’s activities, families were able to meet the crew and learn more about the charity’s work. Proceeds from the event will directly support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s missions across the region.
The charity is running a number of events during the Christmas festive period including a pop up shop at its Tatenhill airbase in Staffordshire and wreath making workshops and the Santa Experience at its Cosford airbase in Shropshire. More details about these upcoming events can be found on the charity’s website.
