Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is calling on local residents to join its team of volunteers at its brand-new shop which opens on 20th December 2024 in Ross-on-Wye. With the launch of this new store on Gloucester Road, the charity is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to help support the vital service that provides lifesaving care across the region.
The charity, which relies on donations to maintain its emergency medical operations, is seeking volunteers for a variety of roles within the new Herefordshire shop, including positions on the shop floor, in the stock room, and window dressing.
Volunteering is a rewarding opportunity for those looking to make a positive impact in their community. Whether you’re interested in assisting customers, sorting and pricing donated items, or helping with day-to-day operations, there is a role for everyone.

When the new shop opens on Friday 20th December 2024, savvy shoppers are invited to come along and pick up those last minute gifts or party outfits for the festive season. The new store will offer a wide range of pre-loved items, from clothing and accessories to homeware and toys. Donations of quality pre-loved items are also welcomed.
Rachael Abi Rached, head of retail for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to support our pre-hospital emergency service while becoming an integral part of your community in Herefordshire. Volunteers will be crucial in ensuring the success of our new Ross-on-Wye shop, and all funds raised will go directly towards funding Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s critical missions and save lives.”
