Midlands Air Ambulance Charity
Morgan Motor Company has chosen Midlands Air Ambulance Charity as its local charity partner for 2023. The partnership – which was chosen by staff at Morgan – will see Morgan and Midlands Air Ambulance Charity work together to raise awareness and funds for the charity’s pre-hospital emergency service. As part of the partnership, Morgan will be supporting the charity through several initiatives, including donating proceeds from Meet at Morgan events at the Morgan Experience Centre in Malvern, employee payroll giving, and volunteering.
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances and three critical care cars across the largest air ambulance operating region in the UK. Midlands Air Ambulance Charity delivers lifesaving care on more than 4,500 missions per year across six Midlands counties. The charity is wholly self-funded and requires between £11-12 million in donations per year to continue making lifesaving missions possible across the region. Morgan is proud to support this target in every way possible.
The partnership with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity will also see Morgan employees receive mission support training at the Morgan factory, including CPR and bleed control training from the charity’s critical care team. The Morgan Experience Centre will welcome Midlands Air Ambulance Charity clinicians as part of the charity’s Brew for the Crew scheme. Morgan will also participate in numerous charity organised events throughout the year.
Morgan’s 2023 charity partner was voted by factory staff at the Malvern-based company, who were overwhelmingly in support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity as the company’s chosen charity for 2023.
