Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is inviting supporters to help save lives across the West Midlands by participating in its annual “Wear It Red” campaign between Monday 10th and Sunday 16th February 2025.

The charity is encouraging schools, businesses, and community groups to take part. Wear It Red Day not only helps raise essential funds for the service but also increases awareness of the lifesaving pre-hospital care the charity provides across the region.

Participants can register their interest on Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s website and will receive a free fundraising kit. The pack includes a variety of inspiration and ideas for getting involved, along with downloadable resources such as posters, social media assets and fun activities for all ages.

There are many ways to take part in the fundraising efforts beyond simply wearing red. Supporters are encouraged to host their own events during the week, such as a themed bake sale with a "bake it red" twist, a creative "paint it red" activity, or any other unique idea they choose.

Emma Wood, head of fundraising and engagement at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “Wear It Red is a fantastic fun way for people to get involved and show their support for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. By simply wearing red, communities can come together to make a real difference. The enthusiasm from previous years has been inspiring and we hope 2025 will be our biggest year yet. The funds raised make a huge difference in our ability to deliver critical care where it’s needed most, and we can’t wait to see the region go red for a great cause.”
