Ian Jones, clinical operations director for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, states: “Our pre-hospital emergency helicopter-led service will remain fully operational throughout the strike action. In fact, we are planning for increased requests for our charity’s lifesaving resources, by both air ambulance and land vehicle, during the period of strike and we are increasing our clinical staffing levels to support those patients in critical need. We remain committed to ensuring that traumatic incidents and medical emergencies across the Midlands receive a rapid response.”
