Support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity at their Fun Festive Workshops

Monday 28th October 2024

Local florist and volunteer at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, Ros Anwyl is running festive wreath-making workshops at the charity’s Cosford airbase and headquarters.

On Friday 22nd November and Saturday 23rd November, a series of special two-hour workshops will be held where participants can craft their own wreaths to display over the festive period while raising lifesaving funds for the charity’s pre-hospital emergency service.

Wreath rings, foliage, wires, and ribbons will all be supplied by Ros; however, attendees will need to bring along their own secateurs and any decorations they would like to personalise their wreaths with. Festive refreshments will be available, and everyone is encouraged to wear their favourite Christmas jumpers!

The workshops will be held on Friday 22th November at 6.30pm, and on Saturday 23rd November at 10am and 2pm. Sessions cost £30 per person, with each booking going directly towards the funding of future lifesaving missions carried out by the charity’s advanced clinical team over the festive season.

The charity invites supporters to donate their pre-loved Christmas decorations to one of the charity’s shops or bring in their own decorations to offer a wide range of accessories to decorate their wreaths.

Jo Bailey, group events lead at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity said: “We are looking forward to welcoming as many people as possible whether they are an experienced crafter or are looking to try something new. The wreath making workshops are a fun way to kick start the festive season whilst also raising vital funds for the charity’s life-saving work.”
