Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is calling on festive runners to take part in the Telford Town Park Christmas Fun Run this December.
The event, organised by Friends of Telford Town Park, is set to take place at midday on Sunday 3rd December 2023 and raises vital funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Now in its 15th year, the event sees people from Shropshire and the surrounding areas come together dressed as Santas, elves, reindeer, and other seasonal characters, to take part in either a 2km or 5km route.
The team at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is encouraging participants to register their interest early. Each entrant is given a free raffle ticket with the chance of winning some festive goodies. Tickets for adults are £10 each, with free entry for children aged 15 and under.
Emma Wood, head of fundraising and engagement for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity said: “The Telford Town Park Christmas Fun Run is a great event for runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities.
“We are hoping that lots of people in Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, and the surrounding areas will lace up their trainers and join us for what promises to be another really fun event. Those who sign up will be helping to save lives by raising funds for our pre-hospital emergency service.”
