The Lygon Arms, the renowned historic coaching inn situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, in Broadway, Worcestershire, is proud to announce a new partnership with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
As part of this exciting partnership, The Lygon Arms will actively engage in a range of volunteering and fundraising activities for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Each employee at The Lygon Arms is allocated a dedicated volunteering day annually, which they will use to help raise funds and support the charity's lifesaving work. This partnership highlights the property’s commitment to making a significant impact in the local community.
As well as donating various raffle prizes to support, The Lygon Arms is exploring a range of fundraising initiatives such as festive wreath making. They will also be hosting a donation station within its premises. This donation station will offer employees an easy and convenient way to donate pre-loved items which will be sold through the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s shops.
Commenting on this charity partnership, Darren Connor, deputy general manager of The Lygon Arms said “We are thrilled to be able to offer our assistance to this remarkable charity who offer emergency medical support to those in need throughout the region. We understand that they are one of the busiest and longest established air ambulance charities in the UK and we hope that our charity partnership will help in some small way to ensure they continue to offer their life saving services to those in need.”
Pam Hodgetts, Corporate Partnerships Manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity said: “A heartfelt thank you to The Lygon Arms for choosing to partner with us. Partnerships like this are crucial to support our mission to deliver outstanding pre-hospital care to those most in need of urgent care. We look forward to growing the partnership with them.”
