This Giving Tuesday, on 28th November 2023, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is encouraging communities across the region to collectively fundraise £288 for one additional critical car mission in the area.
Now in its 11th year, Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement which encourages and celebrates doing good, highlighting the various ways in which people can give. The team at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is reaching out to members of the public to participate in Giving Tuesday 2023 by supporting the charity’s vital pre-hospital emergency service.
The charity’s 24-hour Facebook fundraiser, aims to make another mission possible, by asking supporters to collectively donate towards its £288 fundraising target to fund a critical care car mission.
For those not on the social media platform, there are other ways to support the charity this Giving Tuesday. This includes donating pre-loved goods to one of its nine charity shops or donating time by volunteering, or simply spreading the word by sharing the charity’s cause online.
Emma Wood, head of fundraising & engagement at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “On the back of the Black Friday weekend, Giving Tuesday is a great way for people to give back to their community. Supporting us this Giving Tuesday means we can continue to reach and treat those who are critically ill and injured in the local area. We would like to thank all of our supporters who have chosen to donate to our essential pre-hospital emergency service – you have truly helped to make missions possible and have kept families and loved ones together.”
