Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has re-opened its charity shop based in Wellington, after a full refurbishment, and is appealing to the public for donations of quality unwanted items, to help restock the shelves.
The charity which has two other charity shops, located in Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire and West Bromwich in the West Midlands, has updated the Wellington shop after four years of successful trading with a brand new look, to further enhance the shopping experience.
Anil Gupta, head of retail for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity explains: “Our Wellington charity shop was first opened in 2012, so after the shops fourth anniversary, we decided to update the interior and give the shop a modern look to encourage new visitors.
“In 2016, our charity shops helped to fund 127 lifesaving air ambulance missions, so the high street presence is vitally important to the charity. It is thanks to generous donations from the public that we are able to stock our charity shops, and all donations are gratefully received.”
If you have any quality, unwanted gifts that you would like to donate to the charity, you can take your donations to one of the charity shops or the charity HQ in Shifnal, or arrange a collection from your local shop.
