Woodfest 2018, a local festival held in the small hamlet of Woodcote Green, has raised over £1,300 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
The event, which is now in its second year, played host to a number of bands and a DJ, to raise money for the lifesaving charity.
Michelle McCracken, Worcestershire fundraising executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “The second Woodfest was a great success, and I’m so pleased to be able to receive this very generous donation from the kind people of Woodcote Green. It sounds like a brilliant time was had by all, and I can’t wait to see what next year’s Woodfest delivers.
“I’d like to give special thanks to Suzie Carter, Sue and Clive Murray and the book club committee for their hard work and dedication in organising this event.”
