Household name and much-loved TV and radio broadcaster, Anne Diamond, endorses the vitally important work of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Anne, whose high profile career spans 30 years, will help MAAC in raising its profile and awareness of its charitable status with the communities the organisation serves. Commenting on her endorsement of the charity, Anne said: “On learning that 2,000 people a year need to rely on the lifesaving skills of the aircrew at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, and knowing that each mission costs roughly £2,500 was quite startling, which is why I want to lend my support to this incredible cause. “I was born in the heart of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s operating patch, in Worcestershire, and I called the Midlands home for many years, so it’s a charity I am keen to endorse. We are extremely lucky and grateful to have a world-class air ambulance looking after some of the most poorly adults and children in the region, reassuringly there whenever we may need it.”
